{ weekend dreams } Why do you go away?

super soft plaid in brushed organic cotton by FabGoose stylish greay color, design Dew

Why do you go away?

So that you can come back.

So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors.

And the people there see you differently, too.

Comming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.

Scandinavian by Nature

Scandinavian by Nature – that is the motto of Fabulous Goose.

Our goose is inspired by the Scandinavian bird depicted in the famous stories of Niels Holgersons adventures by Selma Lagerlöf. This goose adapts to his surroundings by moving from one end of the country to the other, spreading his wings, he seeks out the best place to be and with this recurring journey every year, it makes him the carrier of news to all the other animals in Scandinavia.

That was the best place to be – the perfect spot for our photoshoot this summer (nearby Roskilde, Denmark).

You’ll know it’s there

“When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will ever see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back.”

..and that’s exactly how we feel about making our GOTS certified blankets.

Attitude goes a long way.
